In the wake of the recent Tai Po fire, the College 1 community has come together to offer support to the families affected by this tragedy. Through a fundraising initiative led by JCSV IV, we have raised more than HKD 10,000 to assist those in need. Beyond financial contributions, College 1 also sought to convey care and solidarity in a more personal way. A booth was set up in JCSV IV where students could write cards with messages of comfort, encouragement, and hope for the affected families. The collection of these wishes was thoughtfully facilitated by College 1 JRT, Mr. Ali Choo, whose efforts helped many students participate and share their support.
Many members of our community took the time to pause, reflect, and write heartfelt messages. To preserve this meaningful expression of compassion, all of the cards have been collected and carefully scanned. These digital copies not only serve as a record of our college’s care, but also as a lasting reminder of the strength that comes from standing together during difficult times.
We invite you to browse through the scans below and join us in keeping the families impacted by the Tai Po fire in your thoughts.
