Anna-Maria Kutateladze

Anna-Maria is responsible for public relations and student wellbeing at College 1, Jockey Club Student Village IV, HKU. She also oversees hosting orientation and re-admission events. Furthermore, she can be contacted on an ad hoc basis in case of emergencies.

About Anna-Maria
BPsych 1st Class Hon., MSocSc in Human Rights, PGD in Behavioral Studies, Doctoral Candidate in Psychology, PCTLHE

Anna-Maria is an educational psychologist whose research focuses on wellbeing in education and the right to quality education. She holds a First-Class Honors Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Human Rights, and a postgraduate qualification in Behavioral Studies. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Education at Charles University.
 
At HKU, Anna-Maria serves as a teaching assistant in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, Faculty of Social Sciences, as well as a program committee member for the Master of Social Sciences in Nonprofit Management.

She serves as the Communications Officer at the International Sociological Association (ISA), founded under UNESCO, with headquarters at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and ISA Publications, encompassing journals such as Current Sociology, International Sociology, and Global Dialogue Magazine, published in 15 languages.
​
Her research area focuses on holistic well-being in educational settings. Her research memberships include the ISA Research Committee 04 ‘Sociology of Education’ and the APA Division 15 ‘Educational Psychology’. Anna-Maria has worked in education within both university and nonprofit sectors since 2015.
​
Anna-Maria is deeply committed to the advancement of her academic practice, supported by her extensive qualifications in teaching and learning. She is enrolled in a two-year Postgraduate Program in Academic Practice (PCAP) from the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), articulated into Advance HE Fellowship. She has earned a Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PCTLHE) through TALIC, HKU. These credentials underscore her dedication to excellence in higher education and her continuous professional development.
